In the animal kingdom the Black Widow Spider is not only known for eating the male spider after mating but she is even more famous for her unusual appearance. With her black and yellow colouring she is of dangerous yet eye-catching beauty.
Mauser’s black Widow is of equally striking and unusual appearance. The overall metal construction is kept completely black with very subtle gold inlay placed by our master engravers for maximum effect. The entire action including the trigger guard bolt housing and bolt handle is inlayed with fine gold strips. Undoubtedly your attention will be drawn to the magazine base plate where our craftsmen are really showing of their skill by engraving the Mauser coat of arms in gold down to the finest detail. Fine engraving on the base of the barrel and sight bases as well as the gold coloured de-cocker are additional features, which make this rifle into a real head turner on any shoot.
The Black Widow rests in a stock carved out of high grade seven wood for additional visual effect.
