  1. I own a rifle with the inscription Mauser Oberndorf a .N.. The rifle no. is XXXX, caliber information not available. What model is this; when was it produced; what is it worth; how many of these models were produced; what ammunition can I shoot with it?
    We took over the Mauser Oberndorf company in 1999, and we have only very little documentation concerning the historic Mauser military rifles and pistols. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot make any substantiated statements about the model, production time, quantities or value of the rifle. Excellent information sources about historic Mauser rifles are, however, available in the books listed, although these are only available in English. Unfortunately, we are not aware of any equivalent German language publications about Mauser. If you are interested in historic Mauser rifles and details of the Mauser history, we would sincerely recommend these works.

    A specific definition of caliber is not possible without closely examining the rifle. Please see an experienced rifle maker / weapons dealer. These can generally provide you with additional help.

    The company, Jehn Gustav Jehn GmbH, Postfach 1827, 59528 Lippstadt, Tel: 0294129090, Fax: 02941-23418, E-Mail: gustav@jehn.de has taken over the repairs and spare parts service for all Mauser products that were produced before 1999. Depending on the model, Jehn have a spare parts store that is still quite extensive for some parts. We appreciate your understanding that in view of the number of old models a complete supply with spare parts can no longer be guaranteed.
  4. My Mauser rifle has a defect.
    The company Jehn has taken over the repairs and spare parts service for all Mauser products that were produced before 1999 (see above).
  5. Where can I see the current product range of Mauser models?
    We supply an area-wide network of dealers in Germany and Switzerland. Please e-mail us at info@mauser.com and we will be happy to send you a list of dealers for your area.
  6. I would like to buy a Mauser rifle, can I also come directly to you at your factory?
    You can always contact our employees by e-mail for detailed questions. Sale of Mauser products is, however, made exclusively through the authorized Mauser specialist dealers.
